This series of tin vases is made by one of the last remaining tin industries in the Netherlands. An industry full of tradition. Certain products have been made in exactly the same way for over 100 years. One of those traditional products, ‘an old dutch rosevase’, served as the basis for the new series of vases. It has become the inner shape of the new vase, as well as the carries of the new, somewhat floating exterior.
Special details: The vases have been included in the collections of the Boymans van Beuningen museum in Rotterdam, as well as that of the Municipal Museum in Amsterdam.
