“The name refers to the back of the chair—the side that is most visible in everyday life. I’ve tried to make this stand out by pushing it up by a few centimetres. This subtly exposes the seat, revealing a controlled play of lines in which the legs come out elegantly. A graphic effect that is reinforced by the combination of fabrics.”
