2003 - For Lensvelt, Brekveld developed a piece of furniture that can be custom-made to any desired length, accurate up to the centimeter. For the upholstery, the entire width of a roll of fabric is used, leaving almost no remaining fabric. The length of the design is limited only to the length of the roll of fabric. The cause for his design was a special piece of furniture for Galery 'Tent' designed by Brekveld in the year 2002 for the Rotterdam museum night: a 7 meters long matrass. The matrass was constructed on low legs, giving it a floating quality. The resulting image was the inspiration for designing a similar piece of furniture.
