2006 - The request by RoyalVKB was clear. Come up with an affordable food storage concept with an additional smart element. The solution for the additional function was found in the design of the cap of the container. By making the edge of the cap higher, the container can be stacked. By making it extra high, the cap can also be used to measure off food stuffs. A measuring unit and a nozzle were also included in the design, giving the product its characteristic look. In addition smartness was found during production. The soft rubber ring was manufactured together with the hard plastic of the cap (through co-injection) at the same time. This made production more cost-effective and the product more sustainable.
