2007 - After designing the first series of products for RoyalVKB, Brekveld received a new request from the brand to design a lunch container that would keep the ingredients fresh. The resulting Fresh Traveler features an insulated double-walled compartment at the top and a simple container that can be screwed on at the bottom. It is ideal for carrying ingredients separately, such as yogurt and muesli or soup and croutons, and so on. During production, this design proved to be challenging due to the combination of different materials and complex techniques. However, thanks to its subtle design, the user hardly notices the complexity, only the convenience.
