2005 - The metal carafe of this product uses the same principle as a thermos. A two-walled product, with a vacuum between the two walls. The difference with a traditional thermos is the cap of the bottle. The melamine cups serve as a cap. Closer inspection reveals that all the details in this design have been thought out with great care, something that characterizes Brekveld's work. The bottleneck bends outward slightly, to be able to accommodate the shape of the cups. The melamine cups are equipped with a soft rubber ring at the bottom, which creates an anti-slip effect, as well as a 'soft touch' contact with the underground.
